The Kruger National Park Blog

Ah the Kruger! How you have stolen my heart.

I love the Kruger National Park and I go at least 4-5 times a year. The beautiful landscapes, the wild animals, the well equipped camp sites, the amazing Luxury Safari Lodges…oh there is so much to love about this place it is impossible to name a single thing.

The Kruger National Park is the largest game reserve in South Africa and is also one of the largest protected wildlife areas in the world. At over 19 000 square kilometers (over 7000 square miles), the park is larger than some countries.

Add to this the rest of the parks that make up the Greater Kruger National Park, you get a piece of natural heaven where the animals can live their lives, relatively free of human intervention.

The park is also one of the most well known tourist destinations in the world, receiving over a million guests a year. It is truly a form of heaven for people who love the bush.
