Animals indigenous to the Sabi Sabi area are Cape buffalo, Reedbuck, Elephant, Spotted hyena, giraffe, cheetah, Burchell's Zebra, Duiker, Black-backed jackal, Hippopotamus, various antelope, leopard, warthog, Lion, white rhinoceros, wild dog and white-tailed mongoose.
