AndBeyond Ngala Tented Safari Camp nestles softly into the bush near Ngala Safari Lodge. It overlooks the Timbavati riverbed. It has quality facilities and fantastic first rate service. Luxury safari tents, set upon wooden decks along the river are designed to give guests a first class experience in the African wilderness.
Ngala Private Game Reserve is situated on the border of the Kruger National Park, a 15 000 hectare concession of some of the most diverse ecology and varied mammals and birdlife. It is one of the first concessions to be officially incorporated into the exclusive greater Kruger National Park. It offers a genuine sense of the adventure exclusive to the Kruger area. Ngala is the Shangaan name for Lion.
There are six safari tents at Ngala Tented Safari Camp; each has modern fittings, outdoor showers, en-suite bathrooms, wooden viewing decks, overhead fans and electric blankets.
Ngala Game Reserve proudly has Big Five residents. Ngala also has various animals such as Burchell’s zebra, blue wildebeest, impala, giraffe, hippo, kudu, and duiker. There are 260 species of bird, which include the Marico Sunbird, Woodland Kingfisher, and Spotted-backed Weaver.
